Three-day workshop „IT project management“

Deliver a high quality product or service on time and within budget is imperative to each organization that wants to survive in dynamic and unpredictable environment. IT professionals have an important role in providing support to the organization in achieving its goals because they provide the construction of high-quality information base for making informed business decisions. How do they achieve that? What are the skills needed? Among the most important is the project management skill that is essential to everyone working on projects as well as to those that are supporting them. Therefore, Međimurje IT cluster, Međimurje University for Applied Science and Technology Innovation Centre Međimurje within the i3CT Crossborder Clustering project organise three-day workshop „IT project management“ which will be held on 4th, 5th and 6th Junel 2012 beginning at 10.00 hrs in the premises of Međimurje University for Applied Science, Bana Josipa Jelačića 22a Čakovec (classroom 18)

Participants at he workshop will gain techical and interpersonal skills that will make them easier to manage a project with quality. Through exercises, practical examples and lectures they will learn how to properly and realistic structure the project. Using the right approach in planning and implementation of projects will allow students how to control deadlines and effective use of resources in all phases of project implementation. Useful advices related to the formation of project teams and management skills needed for their management will be an integral part of the workshop. In all areas to be covered in the workshop a special emphasis will be on how to apply gained knowledge in the projects in the ICT area.
